I am proud to have created and developed the information that is presented in this online taxicab driver safety course. This training focuses on reducing the chances of a cab driver being the victim of a criminal assault, reducing those events which prove dangerous to passengers, and educating both the cab driver and the cab company on what independent contractor really means. This is an affordable and comprehensive program available to every cab driver and cab company, no matter how big or small. It can be accessed online 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. All that is needed to register to take the course is a name, date of bith, place of birth, and a credit card.

This course is an accumulation of my knowledge as a former police officer, my experience while representing cab companies for years, other training programs in the industry, and common sense. The course consists of both power point presentations and video training. Each section of the training is accompanied by a test. In order to successfully complete each lesson, the driver must score 70% on the test that accompanies it. The driver may take the test again if he or she fails it the first time, but must watch the video again before doing so.

Some of the training is very basic, some of it is boring, some of it is funny, and some of it may save your life. There is no way to compress all of this information into a short and entertaining format. It is more important to give you, the cab driver, the information to help save your life than it is to entertain you.
